Status of these terms
Companion is currently being reviewed privately. The operating organisation, governing jurisdiction and public contact details have not yet been approved. Final terms must identify them and receive qualified review before external participants are invited.
What Companion is
Companion is a personal organisation tool for adults navigating separation. It helps you keep accounts, dates, finances and documents together and prepare information for your own review.
Companion is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. It does not create a lawyer-client relationship, decide what you should do, assess the strength of a case or promise a particular outcome. Consult a qualified lawyer in your jurisdiction for legal advice.
Not an emergency service
Companion is not monitored for urgent messages and cannot provide emergency, crisis or safeguarding support. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency or specialist service where you are.
Your account and information
- Use Companion only if you are at least 18 and have been invited to the private pilot.
- Keep your sign-in details private and tell the pilot contact if you think your account has been accessed without permission.
- Add only information you are entitled to keep and use. Do not upload unlawful content or use the service to threaten, harass or impersonate someone.
- Check information before relying on it or sharing it with a professional.
- Use fictional information during a demonstration unless the pilot's privacy and account-control gates have been completed.
AI-assisted features
Optional AI features can transcribe audio or suggest summaries and briefs. Their output may be incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate. You remain responsible for checking, correcting and choosing whether to keep or share it.
Companion asks for confirmation before an AI action sends workspace information to its provider. The details are in the privacy policy.
Pilot availability and changes
The private pilot may change, pause or end while faults and safety controls are tested. Features may be unavailable and no uninterrupted or error-free service is promised during this review stage.
Material changes to these terms should be shown before they apply. If you do not accept an updated version, stop using the pilot and ask for the account to be closed through the supplied pilot contact method.
Questions or concerns
Use the contact method supplied with your invitation. Do not include sensitive case details in your first message. More information is on the contact page.
